Above Sensing Ltd. was founded in 2021 by Vadim Stolyarov and Santiago Botero, graduates of the Selkirk College School of Environment and Geomatics, to meet the growing demand for geospatially enabled project support and decision-ready data.
Based in Trail, British Columbia, Above Sensing has earned a reputation for delivering high-quality geospatial analytics, high-resolution aerial data, and specialized remote sensing products that support complex projects, public safety operations, and land stewardship initiatives.

Vadim Stolyarov
Director
Vadim has a background in geospatial analysis, remote sensing, and RPAS operations. A graduate of Selkirk College’s School of Environment and Geomatics, Vadim leads project delivery with a focus on Transport Canada–compliant drone operations, defensible geospatial data, and effective project execution. He is currently advancing his credentials with Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Level 1 Complex operations (L1C), reinforcing Above Sensing’s commitment to structured project delivery, technical rigor, and operational excellence across British Columbia and Canada.
